The vaccine has been called the “light at the end of the tunnel” for this ongoing pandemic. Finding out where to get the vaccine, if you’re eligible, who to call… can be daunting. Therefore, we hope to helpfully organize some of that information for you here.

Call the vaccine hotline to find out if you’re eligible and schedule appointments. However, wait times may be very long, and appointments may be unavailable due to the extremely limited amount of vaccine in NY at the moment. Because of this, we ask that you use patience.
Am-I-Eligible-App
Alternatively, use the Am-I-Eligible? App to schedule an appointment online. The app will help you check if you are eligible, and set you up with an appointment if one is available. Be patient, there are currently very few vaccines in NY compared to the number of people who are eligible.
Who’s in Charge?
New York State will distribute the COVID-19 vaccine in phases based on need and risk. The State develops the program for distribution and authorizes the vaccination sites. For information directly from New York State, here are links to helpful sites.

Eligibility and “Phases”
Vaccines will be distributed to eligible persons. Who is eligible will expand over time. After a time, the next will become available. There are 4 groups, or “phases” of this rollout. New York State has developed an app to help you find out if you’re eligible, the “Am-I-Eligible? App” which you can use here. (https://am-i-eligible.covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/)

Distribution in Westchester

The New York State operated mass distribution center in westchester is located at the Westchester County Center, 198 Central Avenue, White Plains, NY 10606
Westchester county has also allocated vaccine distribution to smaller pharmacies and hospitals, including St. Joseph’s Hospital and Westchester Medical Center.
You can schedule your appointment through New York State’s hotline (833) 697-4829, or the Am-I-Eligible?-App. Some locations have private appointments available as well, check with each site for specific information. And practice patience; there is an extremely limited amount of vaccine available.
